Call for Nominations
The Foundations of Computer Aided Chemical Engineering 2024 Conference is pleased to announce the Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation. The goal of the award is to recognize an outstanding contribution to the field by a PhD Candidate arising from PhD research.
Award recipients must have successfully published and defended their PhD between January 1, 2019 and the submission deadline.
The dissertation must be within the scope of the FOCAPD 2024 conference (chemical process and product design).
Award recipients will receive a certificate, a speaking slot at the FOCAPD conference, and free conference registration.
Nomination Instructions
The Nomination Period has now closed. The top ranking nominees will be invited to submit a full application. Please follow the instructions in that email to complete the final application package.
Timelines

| September 15, 2023 | Nomination period closes. Applications must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time (New York) on this date |
| October 1, 2023 | Committee notifies nominees of decision to invite or not to invite to submit a full application. Invitees may receive requests for additional information or suggestions on what to include in the full application. |
| January 8, 2024 | Full applications due (by invitation only). |
| March 1, 2024 | Applicants notified of final decision. |
